If you would like to come to the UK to study then you need to apply for a student visa. We can assist you applying for this, or if you would like to extend your current visa, or if you want to bring your spouse and dependents. You have to provide a range of documents to prove you qualify for a student visa. We can assess your case to make sure it is submitted correctly. This will avoid delays and improve your chances of success. You can avoid an appeal case by getting this right first time.
To qualify you must prove that you plan to attend one of the following:
- A recognised full-time degree course at a publicly funded institution of further or higher education (e.g. a university)
- A private education institution for a course run during the week that involves a minimum of 15 hours of organized daytime study a week.
- At an independent fee-paying school for a full-time course of study.

If you have not already chosen or been accepted on a course you may be able to apply for entry as a Prospective Student.
Students must be able to support themselves and afford the costs of the course and accommodation. You must be able to show you can support yourself (and any dependents) without needing public funds. You are allowed to work for 20 hours a week part-time during term time (except if a work placement is part of your studies) and 40 hours a week during holidays.
